Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry Operates:
under the Congress of Christian Education of the Association. Our Youth Director, Rev Debra Gill has a tremendous heart for the youth within the church as well as the community. She works with the Youth Advisers within member churches to coordinate all activities and ministry events sponsored by the Association.
Goal for Youth: To help every child reach their God-given potential, and to recognize that even as a youth he or she is a powerful vessel to the Body of Christ. Each one will know that being saved doesn’t mean life can’t be fun.
Minister Debra Denise Gill
Minister Gill is an Associate Minister at MT. Zion Baptist Church, Blackstock, SC. Her pastor is the honorable Pastor Wendell P. Wylie. Debra is oldest of six children born to Mr. and Mrs. James Gill, Jr. She is a witness that even though one may experience trials in life, a life dedicated to Christ will produce results that defy statistics. Debra has begun studies at United Corner Stone School of Divinity, and has academic degrees in Business Management, and Business Administration. Minister Gill also has a Certification in Child and Family Services from The University of South Carolina. Most importantly, Min. Gill wants people to recognize she is a disciple of Christ because of the love she shows to others. Minister Gill’s favorite scripture is:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart”.
